Getting There

Bus
From San Sebastián, head to the bus station located at Plaza de Pío XII. Take the Lurraldebus line A-1 towards Bidart. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Bidart stop, disembark and follow the signs towards the Nive River. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop to the river, where you can enjoy the scenic views.

Train
Make your way to the San Sebastián train station located at Plaza de las Estaciones. Board the Euskotren train heading towards Hendaye. The trip will take around 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Hendaye' station. From there, you can walk towards the Nive River by following the signs or using a map application, which will take approximately 20 minutes.

Walking
If you are up for a longer walk, you can stroll to the border of France. Start from the city center at Plaza de la Constitución. Head towards the Boulevard de la Liberté and follow it until you reach the border. Once you cross into France, continue straight until you reach the Nive River, which is about a 2-hour walk from the city center.
