Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the city center, head towards Plaza de la Constitución. From there, walk north towards the water and take a left onto Calle de la Virgen del Coro. Continue straight until you reach the waterfront promenade. Turn right and walk along the promenade until you reach the end of the beach. You will see a path leading up the hill; take this path (it’s called Paseo Nuevo). Follow this path, and when you reach the Mirador de la Playa de la Concha, continue along until you see the sign for Santiago Batería on your left. Follow the path leading up to the site.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From the city center, walk to the nearest bus stop at Paseo de la República Argentina. Take Bus 28 or Bus 41 towards Igeldo. Get off at the stop 'Pico del Loro', which is the closest stop to Santiago Batería. From the bus stop, walk slightly uphill on Calle Gaztelubide and follow the signs to Santiago Batería. It should take about 10 minutes to walk from the bus stop.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in San Sebastián. Just tell the driver to take you to 'Gaztelubide Kalea, 6'. The ride will be short, typically around 10-15 minutes depending on the traffic.
