Getting There

    If you're starting from the central area of San Sebastián, head towards the iconic La Concha Beach. From the beach, walk along the promenade (Paseo de la Concha) heading northwest until you reach the end of the beach. Once you reach the end, you will see the river (Urumea) on your left. Cross the bridge (Puente de la Zurriola) towards the neighborhood of Gros. After crossing, keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with Calle de San Francisco. Turn left onto Calle de San Francisco. Continue walking until you reach the Plaza de la Constitución. Here, turn right onto Calle de la Victoria, which leads you directly into the old town (Parte Vieja). Follow Calle de la Victoria until you reach Plaza de la Constitución again, then take a left onto Calle Mayor. This street will take you towards the old city walls. Continue straight until you see the St. Maria Gate on your right at Nagusi Kalea, 33.
