From Santander city center, head to the main bus terminal at Estación de Autobuses de Santander. Purchase a ticket for a bus heading to Santillana del Mar. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus stop in Santillana del Mar, exit the bus and walk along the main road (Calle Juan Infante) for about 5 minutes until you reach Plaza Mayor. From there, take Calle Río, and you will find the Casco Histórico de Santillana del Mar at number 4 on your left.

Train and Bus
First, make your way to the Santander train station (Estación de Tren de Santander). Board a train heading to Torrelavega. The train ride takes about 20 minutes. Once in Torrelavega, transfer to a local bus (Line 1 or Line 2) towards Santillana del Mar. The bus ride will take an additional 20 minutes. After arriving in Santillana del Mar, walk along Calle Juan Infante to reach Plaza Mayor, then take Calle Río to find the Casco Histórico de Santillana del Mar at number 4.

If you’re feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from the city center of Santander. Head east on Calle San Fernando and continue straight until you reach the waterfront. From there, follow the coastal walk towards the east, enjoying the scenery. After about 10 kilometers, you will reach the town of Santillana del Mar. Upon entering the town, follow the signs to the Plaza Mayor, then take Calle Río to arrive at the Casco Histórico de Santillana del Mar at number 4.
