From Santander city center, head to the Plaza de las Estaciones where you will find the bus terminal. Look for the Autocares La Montañesa bus line that goes to Puente Viesgo. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Puente Viesgo bus stop, exit the bus and head towards the main road SP-6022. The Cave of El Castillo is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow SP-6022, and you will see signs directing you to the cave.

From Santander's train station, take a regional train towards Unquera. Get off at the 'Puente Viesgo' station, which is about a 40-minute ride. Upon arriving, exit the train station and head towards the main road, SP-6022. The Cave of El Castillo is approximately a 20-minute walk from the station. Follow SP-6022, and you will see signs leading you to the cave.
