Getting There

• Bus

  From the city center of Santander, head to the main bus station, Estación de Autobuses de Santander, located at Calle Castilla, 2. Look for the bus company ALSA, which operates services to Cabezón de la Sal. Purchase a ticket to Cabezón de la Sal and board the bus. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Cabezón de la Sal bus station, you can walk to Parque De San Diego by heading east on Avenida de Cantabria for about 10 minutes. The park entrance is located at Avenida de Cantabria, 10.

• Train

  From Santander, go to the Estación de tren de Santander (Santander Train Station) located at Calle Marqués de la Hermida, 3. Board a regional train towards Unquera or Cabezón de la Sal. After about 30 minutes, disembark at Cabezón de la Sal station. Exit the train station and turn left onto Avenida de Cantabria. Walk for approximately 15 minutes, and you will reach Parque De San Diego at Avenida de Cantabria, 10.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Santander. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Parque De San Diego at Avenida de Cantabria, 10 in Cabezón de la Sal. The drive will take about 25-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Taxis are available throughout the city, or you can call a local taxi service.

• Bicycle

  For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Santander. Start at the waterfront promenade and follow the cycle path towards Cabezón de la Sal. The ride is approximately 12 km and will take about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Follow the signs to Cabezón de la Sal, and once you enter the town, navigate to Avenida de Cantabria. The park will be on your left.
