Getting There

• Bus

  From Santander, head to the main bus station, Estación de Autobuses de Santander, located at Avenida de los Castros, 1. Look for buses heading to Comillas; the journey takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Ensure to check the bus schedule in advance, as there may be limited services. Once in Comillas, head towards P.º el Muelle, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

• Train

  Take a train from Santander to the nearest train station to Comillas, which is in Unquera. Catch a Renfe train from the main train station in Santander, Estación de Tren de Santander, located at Calle de la Estación, s/n. The train ride takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Unquera, take a bus or taxi to Comillas, which is about 10 minutes away, or walk if you prefer the scenic route.

• Taxi

  You can also take a taxi from Santander directly to Puerto de Comillas. This is a more expensive option but offers a direct and convenient means of transport. The journey will take around 45 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.

• Bicycle

  For the adventurous, renting a bicycle in Santander is an option. Head towards the coastal path that leads out of Santander and follow the route towards Comillas. The distance is approximately 30 kilometers and will take about 2 to 3 hours, depending on your cycling speed. Enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way!
