Getting There

• Bus

  If you are in the city center, head to the Plaza de las Estaciones, which is the main bus station in Santander. From there, take Bus Line 1 (or Line 2) towards 'El Sardinero'. Stay on the bus for about 10-15 minutes. You will get off at the stop 'Playa de la Magdalena'. From the bus stop, walk straight towards the beach and follow the path that leads into the Parque Marino de la Magdalena.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk, start at the Plaza de Cañadío, a central square in Santander. From there, head towards the waterfront along Calle del Río de la Pila. Continue walking straight until you reach the seafront promenade. Turn left and walk along the promenade until you reach the entrance to the Parque Marino de la Magdalena. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes, offering beautiful views of the bay.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a quicker option, you can hail a taxi from anywhere in Santander. Simply ask the driver to take you to 'Parque Marino de la Magdalena'. The ride should take around 10 minutes depending on traffic, and it will drop you off directly at the park entrance.

• Bicycle

  For those who enjoy cycling, Santander has a bike rental service called 'Santander Bici'. Locate a nearby bike station and rent a bike. Cycle towards the seafront promenade and follow the same route as if you were walking. The ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes, and there are bike parking areas available at the park.
