If you are starting from the Toledo Alcázar, exit the fortress and head southwest towards the Plaza de Zocodover. From the plaza, take the Calle Comercio, which will lead you out of the city center. Continue straight until you reach the Plaza de la Merced. Turn left onto Calle de la Merced and follow this street until it merges into Calle del Cardenal Cisneros. Continue walking straight. You will eventually reach a fork; stay to the right, which will turn into Bajada San Martín. Follow Bajada San Martín, and you will arrive at San Martin's Bridge, where you can enjoy its beautiful architecture and views.

Starting from the Cathedral of Toledo, exit the cathedral and head southeast towards Calle del Cardenal Cisneros. Follow this street until you reach Plaza de la Merced, then turn right onto Calle de la Merced. Continue on this road until you reach the intersection with Bajada San Martín. Turn left onto Bajada San Martín and proceed down this road. San Martin's Bridge will be straight ahead, showcasing its impressive structure.
