If you are starting from the Toledo Alcázar, exit the fortress and head southwest towards the Plaza de Zocodover. From the plaza, take the Calle Comercio, which will lead you out of the city center. Continue straight until you reach the Plaza de la Merced. Turn left onto Calle de la Merced and follow this street until it merges into Calle del Cardenal Cisneros. Continue walking straight. You will eventually reach a fork; stay to the right, which will turn into Bajada San Martín.
