Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Valencia Cathedral, head southeast on Plaza de la Reina towards Calle del Mar. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle de la Paz. Turn left onto Calle de la Paz and walk until you reach the next intersection. Turn right onto Plaza de la Virgen. The Basilica de la Mare de Déu dels Desemparats is located at the far end of the square, at Plaça de la Verge, s/n.

    Take Line 3 or Line 5 from any metro station in Valencia that connects to the metro system (e.g., Xàtiva or Colón). Get off at the 'Colon' station and transfer to Line 3, heading towards Rafelbuñol. Get off at the 'Àngel Guimerà' station.
