Getting There

• Car

  If you are travelling by car, start your journey in the town of Adam's Peak. Drive towards the Idikatupana area. Take the A26 road and continue until you see signs for Sripada view point. The GPS coordinates for the location are approximately 6.8083° N, 80.4812° E. Once you arrive at the designated area, you may need to park your vehicle in a nearby parking lot. Note that parking fees may apply, generally around LKR 200-500 depending on the season.

• Public Transport

  To reach Sripada view point via public transportation, start by taking a bus from the central bus station in Adam's Peak. Look for buses heading towards Idikatupana or Sripada. The fare is usually around LKR 50-100. Inform the bus conductor of your destination to ensure you get off at the correct stop, which is close to the Sripada view point. From there, it is a short walk to the viewpoint. Be prepared for some uphill terrain, as the view point is elevated.

• Walking

  If you are already in the vicinity of the Idikatupana area, you can walk to the Sripada view point. From any central location in Idikatupana, head towards the RF5J+8F coordinates, ensuring to follow any available path signs. The walk is approximately 1-2 kilometers and may take around 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace. The trail can be steep, so wear comfortable shoes and carry water with you.
