Car
If you are traveling by car, begin your journey from Ampara town. Head northwest on the A4 highway towards the town of Pottuvil. After approximately 30 km, look for signs to turn onto the Hunnasgiriya - Meemure Road. Follow this road for about 15 km until you reach Corbett's Gap අට්ටාලවෙට්ටුව. Parking is available nearby, and there are no entry fees for this scenic spot.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start at Ampara bus station. Take a bus heading towards Pottuvil, and inform the driver that you want to get off at the Hunnasgiriya - Meemure Road junction. It's about a 30 km ride that will take approximately 1 hour. Once you reach the junction, you will need to hire a tuk-tuk or take a taxi to cover the remaining 15 km to Corbett's Gap. The tuk-tuk ride will cost around 500 LKR.
Tuk-Tuk
If you prefer to take a tuk-tuk instead of public transportation, you can hire one from anywhere in Ampara District. Agree on a fare before starting your journey. The ride to Corbett's Gap will take about 30 minutes from Ampara town, and the cost should be around 1500-2000 LKR, depending on your starting point.
