Car
From Ampara town, take the A4 highway towards Batticaloa. Drive for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the junction at Pottuvil. Turn left onto the B408 road towards Gal Oya. Continue for about 12 kilometers. You will see signs for Gal Oya Lodge. Follow the signs, and after a short drive down a gravel road, you will arrive at the lodge.

Public Transportation
From Ampara town, take a local bus heading towards Batticaloa. The fare is around 50 LKR. Get off at the Pottuvil junction (approximately a 30-minute ride). From there, hire a tuk-tuk or three-wheeler to Gal Oya Lodge for around 300 LKR. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Ensure to show the driver the lodge's name or address for accurate navigation.
