    From the center of Anuradhapura, head north on the main road, Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi Mawatha. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass the historic Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi tree on your left. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with 1st Cross Street. Turn right onto 1st Cross Street and continue for about 300 meters. The Archaeological Museum will be on your left, just before the intersection with 2nd Cross Street. The entrance is clearly marked.
