If you are in the center of Anuradhapura, start by heading towards the main road, B164. From the Anuradhapura Railway Station, walk north along Station Road until you reach the junction with B164. Turn left onto B164 and continue for approximately 1 km. You will pass several small shops and local eateries along the way. After about 1 km, you will see a sign for Buddhist Railing on your right. Follow the sign and take a small path leading into the historical site area.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Anuradhapura. Start from the city center and head towards the B164 road. Ride north along Station Road until you reach the junction with B164. Turn left onto B164 and cycle for about 1 km. Look for the sign for Buddhist Railing on your right, then take the path leading to the site. Cycling is a great way to explore the area and enjoy the sights along the way.

To reach Buddhist Railing by tuk-tuk, find a tuk-tuk stand in the city center or call for one. Inform the driver that you want to go to Buddhist Railing located on B164. The ride should take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off at the entrance of the site, where you can follow the pathway leading to the Buddhist Railing.
