Walking
If you are in the central area of Anuradhapura, start by heading towards the Sri Maha Bodhi tree, which is a well-known landmark. From the Sri Maha Bodhi, walk east along the road for about 300 meters until you reach the junction. Turn left onto the main road (Anuradhapura - Mihintale Road). Walk straight for approximately 1 kilometer. As you continue, keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Bodhigharaya. After about 1 kilometer, you will notice a small pathway on your right leading towards the Bodhigharaya.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops near the town center. Start your ride from the Sri Maha Bodhi and head east for about 300 meters. Turn left onto Anuradhapura - Mihintale Road and cycle straight for approximately 1 kilometer. Look for the signs indicating Bodhigharaya; you will find a path on your right after about 1 kilometer. This path will lead you directly to Bodhigharaya.

Tuk-tuk
Find a tuk-tuk stand near the Sri Maha Bodhi or any central location in Anuradhapura. Ask the driver to take you to Bodhigharaya. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to point out any local landmarks as reference points to ensure you reach the correct destination.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the central bus station in Anuradhapura, take a bus heading towards Mihintale. Inform the bus conductor that you want to get off at Bodhigharaya. The bus ride will take around 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Bodhigharaya stop, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to reach the site.
