    If you are starting from the Anuradhapura Railway Station, exit the station and head south on Station Road. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with the Colombo-Anuradhapura Highway (A9). Cross the highway carefully, and you will see the entrance to the Anuradhapura Sacred City ahead. Follow the signs towards Thuparamaya, which is approximately another 1 kilometer ahead. You will see the iconic stupa as you approach.

Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will find signs pointing to Thuparamaya. There is a bike parking area near the entrance, so you can park your bicycle before exploring the site.
