Getting There

Car

From Colombo, take the Southern Expressway towards Galle. Exit at the Matara interchange and head towards Tangalle on the A2 coastal road. Once in Tangalle, continue on the A2 road towards Hambantota. Look for signs for Kalametiya Bird Sanctuary and turn off the main road onto the smaller roads leading to the sanctuary.
