Car
If you are driving, start from Badulla town and head east on the A5 road towards Wellawaya. Continue for about 27 kilometers until you reach Koslanda. Look for the signs indicating Diyaluma Falls. As you approach Koslanda, you will see a small road on the left leading to the falls. Take this road, and after a short drive, you will arrive at the parking area for Diyaluma Falls. Parking might be available for a small fee, usually around LKR 100 to LKR 200.
Public Transportation
From Badulla, you can take a bus heading to Wellawaya. Buses frequently leave from the Badulla bus stand. The fare is approximately LKR 50 to LKR 100. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Koslanda, which is about a 45-minute ride. Once you arrive in Koslanda, you can either walk (approximately 2 kilometers) to the falls or hire a tuk-tuk for around LKR 300 to LKR 400 to take you directly to the entrance of Diyaluma Falls.
Tuk-Tuk
If you are already in Koslanda or nearby, hiring a tuk-tuk to Diyaluma Falls is a convenient option. Negotiate the fare before starting your journey; it should cost around LKR 300 to LKR 500, depending on your starting point. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes.
