Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Badulla. Head southwest on Main Street towards the Badulla Bus Station. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the junction with the Kandy-Badulla Road (A5). Turn right onto the A5 road and drive for about 500 meters. Look for a sign indicating 'Badulla Dutch Fort'. Turn left onto X3R3+CHW and continue for another 200 meters. The fort will be on your right. Parking is available nearby.
Public Bus
From Badulla Bus Station, take a local bus heading towards Hali-Ela or Kandy. Inform the conductor that you are going to Badulla Dutch Fort. The fare is approximately 50 LKR. The bus will drop you off at the nearest stop, which is about a 10-minute walk from the fort. After getting off, head back towards the main road (A5) and look for X3R3+CHW. Walk down this road for about 200 meters, and you will find the fort on your right.
Tuk-Tuk
For a more comfortable option, you can hire a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Badulla. The fare to Badulla Dutch Fort will typically range from 200 to 400 LKR depending on your starting point. Just tell the driver to take you to 'Badulla Dutch Fort' or provide them with the address X3R3+CHW. The journey should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
