If you are driving, start from the center of Badulla. Head southwest on Main Street towards the Badulla Bus Station. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the junction with the Kandy-Badulla Road (A5). Turn right onto the A5 road and drive for about 500 meters. Look for a sign indicating 'Badulla Dutch Fort'. Turn left onto X3R3+CHW and continue for another 200 meters. The fort will be on your right. Parking is available nearby.

From Badulla Bus Station, take a local bus heading towards Hali-Ela or Kandy. Inform the conductor that you are going to Badulla Dutch Fort. The fare is approximately 50 LKR. Walk down this road for about 200 meters, and you will find the fort on your right.
