If you're driving, head towards QM6J+WH4, Batticaloa. From the center of Batticaloa city, take the A4 road towards the east. Follow the signs for Batticaloa Beach. After approximately 5 kilometers, you will reach a junction with signs pointing towards the beach. Turn left and continue for another 2 kilometers. You will see the beach entrance on your right-hand side.
Public Transportation
To reach Batticaloa Beach via public transport, take a local bus from Batticaloa town to the beach area. Buses frequently leave from the main bus station in Batticaloa. Look for buses heading towards 'Kallady' or 'Batticaloa Beach.' The fare is usually around 50 LKR. Inform the bus conductor that you want to get off at Batticaloa Beach. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes.
