If you are driving from the center of Batticaloa, head east on Kallady Road (A4) towards the coast. Continue straight for about 4 kilometers. You will reach a roundabout; take the second exit onto Batticaloa - Kalmunai Road (A4) and follow it for another 2 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Batticaloa Lagoon and turn left onto the access road leading to the lagoon area. There is parking available nearby.
