Car
From Bundala National Park, exit the park through the main entrance. Head southwest on the A2 road towards Tissamaharama (Tissa). Continue driving for approximately 26 kilometers. Once you reach Tissamaharama, look for signs directing you to Ridiyagama, which is approximately 12 kilometers away. Follow the B4 road and keep an eye out for local signage indicating Ridiyagama Safari. The destination will be located at the coordinates 6.2510° N, 80.9872° E.

Public Transportation
From Bundala National Park, you can take a local bus to Tissamaharama. Buses frequently depart from the nearby bus stop. The journey to Tissamaharama will take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Once in Tissamaharama, you will need to transfer to another bus heading towards Ridiyagama. Ask the conductor to let you know when you reach Ridiyagama. The bus fare from Bundala to Tissamaharama is approximately 100 LKR, and from Tissamaharama to Ridiyagama, it should be around 50 LKR.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Bundala National Park to Ridiyagama Safari. This option is the quickest and most comfortable, taking around 30 minutes. Negotiate the fare beforehand, which should be around 2000-3000 LKR depending on your negotiation skills and the taxi service.
