If you are driving from Kandy, take the A26 road towards Matale. Continue on the A26 for about 20 kilometers until you reach the town of Matale. From Matale, follow the signs to B274, Matale Laggala Road. The journey will take approximately 1 hour depending on traffic. Once you are on B274, follow the road for about 10 kilometers to reach Bambarakiri Ella. There are some parking areas near the waterfall.

Start from the Kandy bus station and board a bus heading to Matale. The bus fare is approximately 100 LKR and the journey takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Once you arrive in Matale, transfer to a local bus or a tuk-tuk towards Laggala. The next leg of your journey will take around 30 minutes, and the fare is about 50 LKR. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Bambarakiri Ella on B274. You may have to walk a short distance from the bus stop to the waterfall.
