Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from Nuwara Eliya, take the A5 road towards Ella. After approximately 20 km, you will reach a junction; continue on the A5 for another 10 km until you reach the town of Hali Ela. From Hali Ela, turn left onto the B25 road towards Galpalama. Follow the B25 for about 7 km, and you will see signs for Bomburu Ella Waterfall. There is a parking area near the entrance, and you may need to pay a small fee (around 100 LKR) to park your vehicle.

    From Nuwara Eliya, take a bus heading to Ella. Once you arrive in Ella, transfer to a bus going to Hali Ela. The bus fare should be around 50 LKR.
