    Car

    If you are driving from Kandy, take the A1 highway towards Matale. After passing Matale, continue on the A1 until you reach the turnoff for the A9 road towards Dambulla. Follow the A9 until you reach the junction for the A26 road. Turn onto A26 and follow it towards Rattota. Once you reach Rattota, take the B477 towards Riverston. After approximately 10 kilometers, you will arrive at Pitawala Pathana, which is well-signposted. Make sure to keep small change ready for any tolls along the highways, which can cost around LKR 100-500 depending on the section.

    Public Transportation

    From Kandy, take a bus heading to Matale. Upon reaching Matale, transfer to a bus going to Rattota. Buses run frequently, but be sure to check the schedule as it can vary. Once in Rattota, you can either take a local tuk-tuk or a taxi to reach Riverston, which is approximately 10 kilometers away. The tuk-tuk fare may range from LKR 300-600 depending on negotiation.
