    Getting There

    By Car

    If you are traveling by car, head towards the Colombo-Horana Main Road (114b). From the center of Colombo, you can take the Baseline Road and then merge onto the Colombo-Horana Main Road. Continue on this road for approximately 10-12 kilometers until you reach Boralesgamuwa. The sanctuary will be on your left side. There is no entry fee to the sanctuary, but you may need to pay for parking depending on where you park.

    By Public Transportation (Bus)

    For public transportation, you can board a bus from Colombo Fort Bus Station heading towards Horana. Look for buses labeled 'Horana' or 'Kottawa'. The journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Get off at the Boralesgamuwa stop near the sanctuary. From there, it's a short walk to the entrance of the Attidiya Bird Sanctuary. The bus fare is typically around 50-100 LKR.
