By Car
If you are driving from Colombo City Centre, head south on Galle Road (A2) towards Dehiwala. Continue straight for about 10 km, then take a right onto the Colombo-Horana Road (B113) at the traffic signal. Continue on this road for about 5 km until you reach Boralesgamuwa. The entrance to Attidiya Bird Sanctuary will be on your left. There is no parking fee, but make sure to park in designated areas.

By Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Attidiya Bird Sanctuary by bus from Colombo Fort, take the bus number 100 or 101 heading towards Boralesgamuwa. The journey takes about 1 hour depending on traffic. Get off at the 'Attidiya' bus stop. From there, walk about 500 meters down Colombo-Horana Road (B113) towards the sanctuary entrance, which will be on your right. The bus fare is approximately LKR 50.

You can hire a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Colombo District to Attidiya Bird Sanctuary. Negotiate the fare beforehand, which should typically be around LKR 800 to LKR 1200 from central Colombo, depending on traffic. The driver will take you directly to the sanctuary entrance located on Colombo-Horana Road (B113).
