Car
If you are traveling by car from Colombo, take the A1 highway towards Avissawella. After approximately 1 hour, exit onto the B258 road towards Talduwa. Follow the signs for Talduwa and continue straight until you reach the coordinates X64F+3MQ. There is limited parking available near Barandi Kovila.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, you can take a train from Colombo Fort Station to Avissawella. The train ride takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Avissawella, you can take a tuk-tuk or a local bus to Talduwa. Inform the driver to drop you off at Barandi Kovila (X64F+3MQ). The tuk-tuk fare should be around LKR 300-500, depending on the distance.
Combined Transport
Another option is to take a bus from Colombo to Avissawella. The bus journey takes around 2 hours. After reaching Avissawella, take a tuk-tuk to Talduwa, which will cost approximately LKR 300-500. Make sure to have some cash handy, as tuk-tuk drivers may not accept card payments.
