This four hour tour of the city was a wonderful experience recommended to me by the hotel concierge. My driver and guide, Indika, was extremely friendly and polite, helpful and knowledgeable. We visited a wide range of cultural and historical attractions. Temples, churches, government buildings, famous landmarks, parks, markets, the port - so much information about such a range of things to see was offered on this very comfortable drive with Indika. There was a small but justifiable charge at the Gangaramaya Temple, but otherwise all our stops to photograph or take a closer look on foot were free of charge. Indika knew the city very well and drove safely from point to point. There were options of shopping towards the end of the trip but I chose to take the opportunity to do some tea tasting which was most informative and enjoyable. I learned about the different processes of picking and production too. Indika’s vehicle was as impeccable as his manners and it was evident that he enjoyed his work. As a solo passenger I appreciated his congeniality and experience throughout. There were lots of surprises round the corner on the route and a sense of how the old and the new had blended. I would highly recommend this guide to show you around this wonderful, bustling city. Thank you.

Had a fantastic city tour. Ruchitha was polite, courteous and respectful of me being a woman travelling alone. He showed me all the main sights and assisted me in the right was to behave when going into the temples etc. His English is excellent and he explains things very well. I also booked Ruchitha to drive me to Galle a couple of days later. I thought it was just as a taxi, but he also stopped for me to go to see the turtles, a tsunami museum and a quick tour of Galle fort area. Can’t recommend Ruchitha highly enough. Thank you
