Getting There

  • Bus

    From Colombo, head to the nearest bus terminal, such as the Colombo Fort Bus Station. Look for buses heading towards Bandaragama or nearby areas. The bus ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Inform the bus conductor that you want to get off at Walekade Maithree Mawatha. Once you arrive, walk along Walekade Maithree Mawatha, and Pearl Bay will be a short walk from the bus stop.

  • Train

    Take a train from Colombo Fort Railway Station towards the Kalutara or Galle line. Get off at the nearest station to Bandaragama, which is the Bandaragama Railway Station. This journey will take about an hour. From the station, you can either take a tuk-tuk or walk. If you choose to walk, head towards Walekade Maithree Mawatha, and follow the road signs to Pearl Bay.

  • Tuk-Tuk
