Walking
If you're in the heart of Cinnamon Gardens, you can reach the Sri Lanka Planetarium by walking. Start from the main road, Galle Road (A2). Head towards the intersection with Prof. Stanley Wijesundera Mawatha. Once you reach this intersection, turn onto Prof. Stanley Wijesundera Mawatha. Continue walking straight for about 500 meters. The Planetarium will be on your left side. Look out for the large building with a dome-shaped structure, which is a distinctive feature of the planetarium.

From almost any point in Cinnamon Gardens, you can catch a bus heading towards the Colombo Fort or Pettah area. Look for buses with route numbers like 100, 138, or 149. Once you reach the bus stop near the Colombo University (Sri Lanka Planetarium is nearby), get off and walk towards Prof. Stanley Wijesundera Mawatha.
