Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in Pettah, start by heading to Main Street. From there, walk towards the direction of the Colombo Fort Railway Station. After passing the railway station, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Sri Jinarathana Road. Turn left onto Sri Jinarathana Road and continue walking for about 10 minutes. You will see the entrance to Gangaramaya Temple on your right at 61 Sri Jinarathana Rd.

  • Tuk Tuk

    For a quicker option, you can hire a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Pettah. Simply tell the driver 'Gangaramaya Temple' or show them the address: 61 Sri Jinarathana Rd, Colombo 00200. The fare should be around 200-300 LKR depending on your starting point. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.
