If you are driving from Gampaha District, start by getting onto the A1 highway (Colombo Road) heading south. Continue on the A1 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach Colombo. As you approach Colombo, follow signs for Marine Drive. Take the exit towards Marine Drive and continue straight until you see signs for the Children's Park Pathway. Turn onto Children's Park Pathway, and you will find Gangaramaya Park on your right. Parking facilities are available near the park.

Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Gangaramaya Park via public transport, take a bus from Gampaha to Colombo. Buses frequently leave from the Gampaha bus station, and you should look for buses heading to Colombo Fort or Pettah. The journey takes about 1 hour depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Colombo Fort, you can either walk or take a local bus to Marine Drive. From there, follow the signs for Children's Park Pathway, and you will find Gangaramaya Park. Make sure to have some small change for the bus fare, which typically costs around 50-100 LKR.

Another option is to take a train from Gampaha to Colombo. Board a train at the Gampaha Railway Station heading towards Colombo. The train journey takes approximately 45 minutes.
