A must-see Gem giving insights into the extraordinary life of a monk in an ancient Buddhist mountain monastery

The buddhist temple ruins at Ritigala is truly a wonder to behold. The sheer size of the infrastructure for 800+ monks in an amazing and serene moutain setting, their meditation rituals and a 1400 yr old Banyan tree are just some of the amazing sites.
