If you're traveling by car within the Dry Zone, start from Anuradhapura, which is a central hub. Take the A9 highway heading south. After approximately 25 km, take the exit towards the A12 road towards Trincomalee. Continue on the A12 for about 50 km until you reach the town of Mihintale. From Mihintale, follow local roads heading towards Neelabemma, which is about 15 km away. Look for signs for Neelabemma Project as you approach. Ensure to have a GPS or map app handy for the last few kilometers, as local roads may not be well-marked.
