Car
If you are driving, start from Galle Fort, which is a well-known landmark. Head southeast on Church Street, then take a right onto the Galle - Matara Main Road (A2). Continue for approximately 2.5 kilometers until you see signs for Turtle Hotspot on your left. The exact address is Turtle Hotspot Galle Dutch, Galle 80000. There is parking available on-site.
Public Transportation (Bus)
Catch a bus from the Galle Bus Station to Hikkaduwa. Buses leave frequently; the fare is around 50 LKR. Inform the driver that you wish to stop at Turtle Hotspot. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive, you may need to walk a short distance back towards the entrance of Turtle Hotspot, which is located on the Galle - Matara Main Road.
Tuk-Tuk
For a more comfortable and direct option, hire a tuk-tuk from your accommodation or a nearby location. Negotiate a fare (typically around 300-500 LKR) for the ride to Turtle Hotspot. The driver should be familiar with the location, but it’s always good to have the address handy: Turtle Hotspot Galle Dutch, Galle 80000.
Walking
If you are staying nearby, you can walk to Turtle Hotspot. From Galle Fort, it is approximately a 30-minute walk. Head out of the Fort and towards the Galle - Matara Main Road (A2). Continue walking along this road until you reach Turtle Hotspot, which will be on your left side.
