Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Galle Fort entrance, head straight onto Church Street. Walk for about 400 meters until you reach the intersection with Pedlar Street. Turn right onto Pedlar Street and continue for approximately 200 meters. You will see the Old Slave Quarters on your left, located at 26H7+WFF, Galle 80000.

    From the Galle Lighthouse, walk along the coast towards the Galle Fort. Once you pass the lighthouse, follow the coastal road until you reach the Galle Fort entrance. Continue on Church Street as you enter the fort area, and then follow the directions from Church Street to Pedlar Street as described above.
