If you are driving from the Gampaha town center, take the A1 highway towards Colombo. Continue on the A1 for approximately 20 km until you reach the outskirts of Colombo. Look for signs directing you to Pettah and the Floating Market. Once you reach Pettah, turn onto W E Bastian Mawatha, and you will see the Floating Market on your left. There is parking available nearby.

To reach the Pettah Floating Market by public transport, take a train from Gampaha Railway Station to Colombo Fort Station. The train ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Colombo Fort, exit the station and look for a bus or tuk-tuk heading to Pettah. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Floating Market, which is located on W E Bastian Mawatha. The market is a short distance from the bus stop.
