If you are travelling by car, start from Hambantota town. Head northeast on Galle Road (A2) for about 10 kilometers until you reach the junction near the Hambantota Port. Turn left onto the B3 road towards Yoda Kandiya. Continue straight for approximately 5 kilometers until you see a sign for Yodawewa bodiya. The temple is located at the coordinates 6.2618993, 81.3115717, and there is parking available nearby.

To reach Yodawewa bodiya using public transport, take a bus from Hambantota to Yoda Kandiya. Buses leave from the main bus station in Hambantota frequently, and the fare is usually around 50-100 LKR depending on the bus type. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at Yodawewa. Once you arrive in Yoda Kandiya, walk approximately 1 kilometer to the temple following the signs. The temple is located at the coordinates 6.2618993, 81.3115717.

For a more local experience, you can hire a tuk-tuk from Hambantota to Yodawewa bodiya. Negotiate the fare beforehand, which should be around 500-800 LKR for a one-way trip. The tuk-tuk driver will take you directly to the temple located at 7866+QJ4, Yoda Kandiya. Make sure to confirm the return fare as well.
