Tribe Yala is located on this road, approximately 15 km from the main park entrance. Look for the sign for Tribe Yala; it will be on your left side as you approach the Tissamaharama area.

    From Tissamaharama, you can take a local bus towards Kirinda. Ensure you inform the bus driver that you want to get off at Kirinda - Situlpawwa Road. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you reach your stop, walk approximately 1 km down Kirinda - Situlpawwa Road; Tribe Yala will be on your right.

  • Taxi or Tuk-Tuk

    For a more direct option, hire a taxi or a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Yala National Park or Tissamaharama. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Tribe Yala on Kirinda - Situlpawwa Road. The cost should range from 500 to 1500 LKR depending on your starting point and negotiation.
