    If you are driving, head towards the town center of Hambantota. From there, take the A2 highway heading south. After approximately 4 kilometers, turn left onto a local road marked by signs for Hambanthota Lighthouse. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer, and you will arrive at the lighthouse located at coordinates 6.1222093, 81.1270831. There is parking available nearby.

    Public Transportation

    To reach Hambanthota Lighthouse using public transportation, first, take a local bus from Hambantota Bus Station heading towards the coastal area. The bus fare should be around 50 LKR. Get off at the stop nearest to the lighthouse, which is usually around 5 kilometers from the town center. From there, you can either walk (approximately 15-20 minutes) or hire a tuk-tuk for about 200-300 LKR to take you directly to the lighthouse at 44CG+VRP.
