From Hikkaduwa Beach, head east on Galle Road (A2) for about 10 minutes until you reach the Hikkaduwa Railway Station. From there, continue walking along Galle Road until you see the sign for Galle, which is about 15 kilometers away. This walk will take approximately 2 to 3 hours, but you can enjoy the coastal views along the way. Once you reach Galle, look for a local bus stop or rickshaw to take you to Queens Street.

From Hikkaduwa, go to the Hikkaduwa bus terminal located near the railway station. Board a bus heading to Galle (look for buses with 'Galle' displayed on the front). The bus ride takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Galle bus station, exit and walk towards Queens Street. The Maritime Museum is located at 26H9+663, Queens St, just a 10-minute walk from the bus station.
