Getting There

Tuk-Tuk
From your current location in Hikkaduwa, find a nearby tuk-tuk stand or wave down a tuk-tuk on the street. Inform the driver that you want to go to 'YMBA Building, Lighthouse Street, Matara'. The ride should take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. The tuk-tuk will drop you off close to the entrance of the building.

Bus
Head to the main bus stand in Hikkaduwa. Look for a bus traveling towards Matara; these buses are frequent and usually marked with 'Matara' on the front. Board the bus and remain on it for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Matara bus station. From the bus station, you can walk to the YMBA Building by heading east on Lighthouse Street for about 10 minutes until you reach the destination.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Hikkaduwa. Head south on Galle Road (the main road) and continue for about 10 kilometers until you reach Matara. Once in Matara, turn onto Lighthouse Street and follow it for a short distance until you find the YMBA Building on your left. The whole trip should take around 1 hour depending on your cycling speed.

Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and up for a long walk, you can walk from Hikkaduwa to Matara. Start by heading south along Galle Road. It's approximately a 10-kilometer trek and will take around 2-3 hours. Once you arrive in Matara, turn east onto Lighthouse Street, and you will find the YMBA Building after a short walk.
