If you're driving, start from Nuwara Eliya town. Head towards the Nuwara Eliya - Hatton Road (A7). Follow this road for about 5 km. Look for a sign to Single Tree Hill and take a right turn onto the narrow road leading up the hill. The road can be steep and winding, so drive carefully. After approximately 2 km, you will reach a parking area at the base of Single Tree Hill. From there, a short hike (about 10-15 minutes) will lead you to the viewpoint at the top.

To reach Single Tree Hill via public transport, take a bus from Nuwara Eliya to Hatton. The bus fare is approximately 50 LKR. Ask the conductor to drop you off at the closest stop to Single Tree Hill. Once you disembark, you will need to walk about 2 km towards the hill. The road is accessible for pedestrians, but be cautious as it is a narrow and winding path. If you're not comfortable walking, consider hiring a tuk-tuk for about 300-400 LKR to take you directly to the base of the hill.
