Car
If you are driving from Kalpitiya town, begin by heading south on the A3 highway. Continue for about 15 kilometers until you reach the junction for the B496 road. Turn left onto the B496, which will lead you towards Vidathalmunai. Follow the B496 for approximately 5 kilometers, and then take a right onto a smaller road leading towards the beach. After about 1 kilometer, you will arrive at Mangrove Beach. Make sure to check for any required parking fees upon arrival.

Public Transportation
To reach Mangrove Beach using public transportation, start at Kalpitiya town bus terminal. Take a bus heading towards Puttalam. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Vidathalmunai. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes and will cost approximately 50 LKR. Once you arrive at Vidathalmunai, you will need to hire a tuk-tuk or walk about 2 kilometers to reach Mangrove Beach.
