If you are driving from the main town of Kalpitiya, head east on Main Street (A3) towards the Kalpitiya Lagoon. Continue straight for about 6 km until you reach the junction at the entrance of Thalawila. Turn right onto Thalawila Road. Drive for approximately 2 km, and you will arrive at Thalawila Beach. Parking is available near the beach.
