Getting There

Car
If you are driving from Kalutara town, take the A2 road heading towards the town of Payagala. Continue on the A2 for about 12 kilometers. After crossing the bridge over the Kalu Ganga river, take a left onto the B10 road towards Agalawatta. Drive for approximately 8 kilometers until you reach the junction for Batwatte Para. Turn left onto Batwatte Para and follow the road for another 2 kilometers. Ginigedara Ella will be located on your right, just past a small village area.

Public Transportation (Bus)
From Kalutara, board a bus heading towards Agalawatta. Buses are frequent and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Ask the conductor to drop you off at Batwatte Para. Once you get off the bus, walk along Batwatte Para road for about 2 kilometers. Ginigedara Ella is located on your right as you approach the end of the village. Ensure you have small change (around LKR 50-100) for the bus fare.
