8-Day Historical and Wildlife Tour in Cultural Triangle

Fabulous first experience of Sri Lanka

We booked the eight day tour with Beyond Escape and added visits to the Pinnawala orphanage and the botanical garden to that for a wonderful 9 day tour. Communication with the Beyond Escape office was very prompt and helpful and everything on the tour was well organised and allowed us to visit every part of the planned tour. We really liked all the choices made regarding accommodation, outings and lunches. Mr Christo our driver met us at the airport and was very helpful throughout the tour, helping us constantly when we would have struggled on our own and adjusting the tour to make sure we got everything and more out of the tour. He was always happy to chat and added fun to our tour. We always felt safe and everybody we met was completely friendly to us and everybody seemed to be glad that we were there. Everything was a highlight although I would mention Wilpattu National Park, Anuradhapura, Kandulla National Park, the village experience and the royal botanical garden. <p>Such a great trip and we really enjoyed our travel. We loved having a private car and driver. It afforded much more flexibility as far as activities we wanted to do in addition to what was listed in the itinerary. The hotels were great, although there were a couple we would have like to have upgraded on, especially the one we stayed at during our trip to Horton Plains. The ground and activities of what we covered in relation to cost was excellent. Would highly recommend!</p>
