If you are staying near Kandy Lake, you can walk to the Kandy Bus Station and catch a bus to Ramboda as described above. Alternatively, if you are feeling adventurous, you can walk along the scenic route from Kandy to Ramboda, which is approximately 25 kilometers. This will take several hours and is only recommended for experienced walkers, as the roads can be steep and winding.
